Jejak Oceana 2019 on Tidung Island Runs Well

To enliven the Thousand Islands' 18th anniversary, the Jejak Seribu together with the Jakarta-Thousand Islands Abang None (Abnon), as well as ITB Oceanography students held the Jejak Oceana 2019 at Tidung Ceria RPTRA, Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands.

South Thousand Islands Sub-district Head Angga Saputra appreciated the event organizers who have initiated and made the Thousand Islands as a place of research and community service by involving young people of Tidung Island and Abnon.

"Thanks to young people who have special attention in advancing the tourism potential of the Thousand Islands," he expressed, Monday (11/18).

At the same time, Jejak Seribu Chairman Andi Hakim added that it also involved mothers on Tidung Island with kinds of activities; education about tourism, nature conservation, workshops, making plastic waste recycling and coral transplantation.

"This is done to educate the public about tourism potential and development and the care of young people towards the environment," he closed.
